Contents:

Jan Koy, not merely an educated man but also a senator, councillor and curator at Elbląg at the time when Comenius was resident there in order to work on his textbooks for Sweden, was inclined to be friendly towards the latter’s efforts. Comenius expressed his sorrow over Koy’s death in this elegy.
