Town in southern Sweden, north-west of Norrköping.
Louis de Geer, Comenius’s patron, was the owner of the extensive estate with its rich copper mines.
J. A. Comenius stayed at Finspang during his visit to Sweden in 1642.
The large château survives, along with its library, gallery and an attractive park.
