Continuatio Drabicii

Continuatio Historiae revelationum Nicolai Drabicii ab anno 1659 ad 1663

A continuation of the Description of the revelations of Mikuláš Drabík from 1659 to 1663

Origin of the work:
  1663 – 1664 Amsterdam

Editions:
  1663 – 1664 Amsterdam

Contents:

A continuation of the report on Drabík’s prophecies, following on from the Historia revelationum (Description of the Revelations).

Comenius arranged and published more of Drabík’s prophecy despite the objections he received from various quarters. He knew of Drabík’s fall, but nevertheless recognised the veracity of his visions, noting that even David committed grave sins but was still beloved of God. See also the entries on Mikuláš Drabík, revelation, the Lux in tenebris and the Revelationum epitome.
