These are notes on the Latin/Vernacular Grammar (Grammatica Latino-vernacula).

In this work, conforming to the style of the Latin/Vernacular Grammar, Comenius justifies his innovations in the latter and draws the attention of teachers to that with which they must be concerned if the results of teaching according to this textbooks and its methods are to be as effective as possible. The text contains original grammatical observations. It is very valuable for an understanding of Comenius as a linguistic theorist and of contemporary vernacular languages.
