The Amphitheatrum was intended to be the second, expanded version of the encyclopaedia. A total of 28 books were presumed. Of the planned text, only a part has survived, specifically excerpts from the second part of the seventh book, in a copy made by Kryštof Bernard Skrbenský in 1684.
