Knight, originally from Pilníkov, Lord of Žireč and Vlčice, from 1594 the owner of Bílá Třemešná. 

Adam Zilvár married in 1603 to Hedvika of Cedlice, widow Šafgočová. He actively participated in the Estates Uprising in 1618. It was at Adam Zilvár’s château at Vlčice that Comenius found the book on language teaching by Eliáš Bodin.
